Food Bars Created by a family of athletes, for athletes

Debbie Milne MS, RD, CSSD, LD

Supra Functional Food Bar creator, Debbie Milne, MS, RD, CSSD, LD, is a registered and licensed clinical and wellness dietitian currently living in Greenville, South Carolina. She holds a bachelor of science degree in Food Science, Nutrition, and Health Promotion and a master of science degree in Health Promotion. Debbie is also a Board Certified Sports Dietitian and a member of Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. Debbie has been racing bicycles for over 15 years with accomplishments including 6 master's National Championship titles and accumulating over 150 career wins. Debbie is most famous for her aggressive racing style - she spent the early years of her career racing unattached, making solo attacks, and staying off the front for entire races. In recent years, she was on a professional women’s cycling team acting as one of their core members. Now she is heading up her own cycling club and racing alongside her daughter - sharing her wealth of knowledge and experience to help develop the future generations of cyclists. For the past 15 years, Debbie has worked to develop a food bar that would be uniquely suited to the increased needs of an endurance athlete. Due to increased demand for Debbie's delicious bars from friends and members of the cycling community, the idea of Supra Functional Food Bars as a business was born.

Cate Milne RD, LD

Cate is also a registered and licensed dietitian nutritionist currently living in Greenville, South Carolina. While she currently works in a clinical dietetic setting, she also loves wellness dietetics and sports nutrition. One of her favorite nutrition activities is teaching people how to grocery shop and plan weekly meals. She holds a bachelor’s of science degree in Food Science, Nutrition, and Health Promotion and received many awards throughout her college career as a fitness program developer for her university’s recreation center. Cate is the original athlete, besides Debbie of course, who was fueled by Supra Bars. Being a ballerina for 10+ years and in a pre-professional ballet company for 4 years, Cate made it through the tedious training schedule with the help of her mother’s Supra Bars. Now, she is able to use her experiences to help Supra Bar’s vision come to life.
